Lady GaGa is now a columnist for V magazine

One of my favorites publications, V magazine has announced that Lady Gaga will be have a fashion column! I'm really curious about this since mama monster has a very unique and different view of fashion, almost like an art-kind of performance.

Maison Champs-Elysees By Maison Martin Margiela

The hotel Maison Champ-Elysees has teamed up with french fashion house Maison Martin Margiela to design 10 suits and 7 guest rooms as well as the ground floor for the new hotel in Paris. I am optimistic that this collaboration will be ma-jor and Margiela will create a unique, modern and sofisticated atmosphere for the hotel with a theatrical touch. Below I  posted a video that previews what's to come.

Melancholia by Lars Von Trier

Melancholia is an upcoming apocalyptic drama directed by Lars Von Trier ( who directed "Dancer in the Dark"). The film deals with a death planet about to collide with earth and features a superb cast, including two of my major girl crushes;  Kristen Dunts and Charlotte Gainsbourg ( j'adore). As a plus, the styling is superb.I mean if the world is gonna end we might as well do it in style. "Melancholia" premiers May 2011.

Rodarte: States of Matter

The Museum of Contemporary Art ( MOCA) in Los Angeles presents "Rodarte: States of Matter" the first West Coast solo exhibition of the work of fashion and costume designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte. The exhibition will feature more than 20 pieces from Rodarte's Spring 2010, Fall 2010, and Fall 2008 runway collections, and original ballet costumes designed by Rodarte for the feature film Black Swan.
The dresses have been displayed in a series of conceptual vignettes, almost like sculptures, static and in motion, making a great visual effect.
I have always been a fan of the Rodarte girls, I believe they are truly brilliant. This is a must-see exhibit. Below I included a video tour narrated by the Mulleavy sisters themselves. "States of Matter" will be on view from March 4- June 5, 2011. All my Angelino babes, Be about it.

Living with Books

I love to surround myself with books, I always go back to them for inspiration and I seem to learn something new every time. I'm really proud of my personal collection and one of my favorite things to do when I move into a new place is to organize and arrange all my books in a special place.
Here I present a series of images by Todd Selby, fashion and interiors photographer, who portraits designers, models, creatives and taste-makers in their home environment for his blog The Selby and the coveteur. I'm fascinated on how interiors reflect the personality and style of the person who lives there.
Todd Selby also has a book with his fave homes you can buy "The Selby is in your place " here and add it to your collection after you get inspired by the following pics.
