Alice in Wonderland for Vogue

In honor to my upcoming Birthday Party themed after "Alice in Wonderland" I decided to have a blast from the past and post one of my all time favorite Vogue stories. Featuring Natalia Vodianova as "Alice' posing with major designers. The styling by Grace Coddington is SUPERB and it was shot by Annie Leibovitz for Vogue 2003. SO BEYOND

Simply Red

image via  street fashion

I really love this is a picture from street fashion, it was taken in Paris during the fashion week  winter shows. I love he lighting, the motion and particularly  the outfit this guy is wearing. Red has always been one of my favorite colors, even thought I don't wear it often. Last summer I bought a Marc Jacobs red blazer which I wore for a fashion event and got tons of compliments. After looking at all this pics I wish I had matching pants since the whole look is so bold and makes a great statement.
I wore my jacket with a blue shirt just like the girl in 3.1 Phillip Lim suit and Gucci  shirt, the combination is amazing, I love how she styled her look with the knitted hat, layered bracelets and shirt buttoned all the way. One of my faves, Brad Goreski, wore a red suit by Hugo Boss in Italy during fashion week too, looking  impeccable as usual. This spring-summer I am going to embrace red and be all about it.

M.I.A
It's been ten years since Marc Jacobs' diffusion line first hit the runway and to commemorate its anniversary, the label is reissuing some of their classic pieces. In addition Marc Jacobs has created a special playlist, which will be available on Rhapsody for the month of march: all the tunes have  inspired the runway shows or campaigns for the now-cult label. Marc has always been connected with music, collaborating with his favorite artists. This playlist includes  Sonic Youth, M.I.A, Blur, Nirvana, the White Stripes, R.E.M, and Rufus Wainwright, to name a few,
and it will be available until April 10th via Rhapsody.com/marcmusic Gitwiddit!

Here is Sonic Youth performing "Jams run free" live at the Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 runway show.
Kim Gordon ( in marc jacobs, obvi) looks flawless in her metallic striped dressed.
