Speaking of Versace, H&M has announced that Versace will be they're new collaboration. The collection will be available November 17 and it will include some iconic looks and fabrics as well as a home line, that is definitely a first. Now for this I will wait outside at 5am, I'm just saying...
I was not sure how I felt about the new Lady Gaga album until the third single "Edge of Glory",witch I adore. I think it has 80s inspired sounds and the lyrics are great. The video for this song is very simple in oppose to her previous ones, shot on a New York "looking" set in LA. The styling is what I'm totally obsessed with, she wears only one outfit, vintage Versace, apparently Gianni's firts collection from the private archives. All up on that!

I'm loving the new windows at Barneys in the upper east side, witch feature art by New York-based artist Ella Kruglyanskaya. The contrast of the white clothes and the colorful paintings creates a really cool effect.
I love myself a bargain, and last week I had a great find, This Neil Barrett jacket from his fall-winter 2010 collection is part of a suit I was obsessing about during the holidays, but one cannot always have everything one wants so I ended up passing on it. My heart stopped when I found it at a random sample sale. I originally wanted the whole suit just to have a bolder effect but the jacket will do. I love the wrinkle treatment looks like I just jumped into a pool and came out with the suit looking like that. ( J'adore)

Oliver Rousteig is the designer who will replace Christophe Decarnin at the french house of Balmain, Rousteign was already working for Balmain and previously worked at Roberto Cavali for five years.
It's also been announced that Balmain will be launching a diffusion line, which will be called "Pierre Balmain",after the original designer, and will be more affordable and designed by a different team but supervised by Rousteing as well.
I definitely hope this new designer preserves the uniqueness and rock&roll factor that made Balmain had such a great comeback, I am also excited about the new line since "affordable" has never been a word we can use when we refer to anything with a Balmain tag. I mean I basically did not eat for about a week when I bought my nautical peacoat with gold buttons last winter, but it was such a good purchase...

I'm so happy summer is here, all I wanna do is wear cute sunglasses and go the park, or hopefully the beach soon. This is a video from last years campaign for my favorite optical brand "Oliver Peoples" featuring Elijah Wood and Shirley Manson (of Garbage) with music by Zee Avi. I love everything about it.Perfection!

My obsession for these Prada shoes just grew to a whole new level after seeing one of my style icons "Jude Law" wearing them with jeans and a Rick Owens jacket at the Cannes film festival (swoon!) I've always loved the way he dresses, very relaxed but sophisticated and always with interesting shoes. He probably has a shoe thing like me ;) He's a dream.
