The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of Jose Gonzalez- Documentary




The Extraordinary Ordinary life of Jose Gonzalez is a new documentary about Swedish folk singer-song writer  Jose Gonzalez (His parents are Argentinian) who is well known for his indie-pop and intimate acoustics.He has collaborated with bands Zero 7 and Junip. And has covered songs like "Heartbeats" from The Knife, "Love will tear us apart" by Joy Division and "Teardrop" by Massive Attack taking these songs and re-creating them in a completely different style. The film was shot in over three years and it highlights the creative process of the making of his second album "In our Nature" using video diary, concert footage and animations. The documentary is currently showing in festivals around Europe.
Director Karisson says: “There is something absurd, fascinating and beautiful in our attempts to find meaning in our existence. With The Extraordinary ordinary life of José González, we wanted to give form to the personal artistic process.
